During the visit, Vice Chief Professor Duan Zongtao introduced the conditions of our school to all teachers and students in STARLAB and shared feelings and insights from participation of this year's TRB Annual. In addition, Vice Chief Professor Duan Zongtao made academic reports “Traffic Information Cooperation Service”, professors An Yisheng, Hui Fei, Doctor Shi Xin, Vice professor Xu Zhigang made academic reports “Urban Traffic Light Control System based on Timed Colored Petri Nets”, “Wireless Sensor Networks for Hazardous Materials Transportation Monitoring: Background and Framework”, “Wireless Sensor Networks for Hazardous Materials Transportation Monitoring: Key Techs and Its Implementation” and “An Introduction of Chang’an University CVIS Test Bed”, respectively. Both sides expressed intentions of deepening cooperation and expanding research fields.
The Transportation Research Board of the National Academies of USA is held every January. Up to now, TRB Annuals had been successfully held for 94 times and has become the best-known academic conference in the studies of traffics with the most numerous participants from most countries.
