On September 15, 2018, the third session of Information Technology and Intelligence was co-sponsored by Shaanxi Provincial Computer Society, Chang'an University and IOS Press. Xi'an University of Technology, Shaanxi Branch of Chinese Academy of Sciences, Northwestern Polytechnical University and Special Aircraft Engineering Research Institute. The 2018 International Conference on Information Technology and Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITITS2018) was held at the Chang'an University "Car-Road Information Awareness and Intelligent Transportation System" innovation-inducing base. Nearly 300 professors, experts and student representatives from more than 10 countries including China, Britain, Australia, Russia, South Korea, India and Pakistan attended the meeting. Professor Zhao Xiangmo, the director of the base, served as the chairman of the conference.
Before the meeting, Professor Zhao Xiangmo met with Professor Robert Edwards of the University of Lofobo in the UK, Professor Bazhanov Vladimir of the National University of Transportation, Samara, Russia, Professor Yonghui Li of the University of Sydney, Australia, and former Sergeant Sungwon Lee, former Dean of the Korea Transportation Research Institute, in the VIP room of the Academic Exchange Center. Some overseas experts. Professor Zhao Xiangmo introduced the faculty, disciplines, scientific research and major achievements in the field of transportation engineering in recent years. Overseas experts have highly praised the quality of personnel training and international influence of the base transportation engineering discipline. I hope that in the future, I will be able to cooperate with the base in car networking, intelligent networked vehicles, a new generation of intelligent transportation systems and traffic safety. The two sides exchanged views on the introduction of high-level talents, joint training of doctoral students, and exchange of visiting scholars.

On the afternoon of September 15, the opening ceremony of the ITITS2018 conference was held at the Academic Exchange Center of the Innovation and Intelligence Base of the “Car-Road Information Perception and Intelligent Transportation System” of Chang'an University. Professor Zhao Xiangmo, President of the General Assembly, gave a welcome speech and Chen Rui, Chairman of the Shaanxi Provincial Computer Society, delivered a speech. Professor Yonghui Li from the University of Sydney, Australia, gave a keynote report entitled "5G Ultra-reliable and low latency communications (uRLLC)"; former Sergeant Sungwon Lee, former Dean of the Korea Transportation Research Institute, entitled "Fourth Industrial Revolution and Transport: The main report of Implications for Transport Behavior” Dr. Jaehyun So of the Korea Transportation Research Institute gave a keynote report entitled "Korea's Approach, Toward Smart City (Focusing on Transportation)"; Dr. Hong-Mo Seong of the Korea Transportation Research Institute made the title The keynote report of "Introduction of Korea Transport Database (KTDB) System and Application of Big Data for Public Sector"; Professor Bazhanov Vladimir of the National University of Transportation, Samara, Russia, entitled "Intelligent Control Frontier Technology and Its Development Trend" report. The experts and scholars had a good interaction with the teachers and students, and the atmosphere of the meeting was lively.
