On December 13, 2014, on the invitation of the base’s director Prof. Xiangmo Zhao, Dr. Ye Duan from the university of Missouri in the United States came to our school and conducted academic exchanges. Dr. Ye Duan visited the road traffic intelligent detection and equipment engineering technology research center of Shaanxi, traffic information detection and control engineering laboratory, and made an academic report entitled “Data Fusion for 3D Urban Scene Modeling and Understanding”. Report was hosted by dean of school Huansheng Song. Vice-dean Zongtao Duan. Some teachers and students attended the seminar. After that, dean Huansheng Song gave souvenirs to Prof. Huaizhu Gao.

Dr. Ye Duan is the director of City safety research center of engineering college at university of Missouri in the United States, director of the laboratory computer graphics and image understanding of Computer department, associate professor at the university of Missouri. Dr. Ye Duan’s scientific research team is mainly engaged in three-dimensional urban scene modeling, traffic scene modeling and traffic induced research and so on.
