On June 06,2016, Prof. TheunsHenning , Director of the Center for Transportation Research at the University of AucklandNew Zealand, Prof. EmanueleToraldo, Director of the Road Research Lab at the Polytechnical University of Milan Italy,Prof. Jose Balboat the University of Sao Paulo Braziland Prof. Ningyuan L at the University of WaterlooCanada were invited to visited our base.Prof. Xiangmo Zhao companied with related staff from International Cooperation Department and School of Information Engineering had a cordial meeting with the guests at the VIP room in the Academic Exchange Center.

Prof. Xiangmo Zhao made welcome speech to the guests, and briefly introduced the basic information of Chang’an University in aspects of the historical evolution,school scale, characteristics of academic subjects, talent training and so on. He also introduced related international cooperation and communication of our university, and hoped that Prof. Theuns Henning’s visit could promote exchanges and cooperation in related disciples in Chang’anUniversity. Prof. Theuns Henning also briefly introduced the present situation and the cooperation intention of each school, and expressed a strong interest in international cooperation.

After the meeting, Prof. Theuns Henning visitedlaboratories of the base, and then he made an academic report. Teachers and students at the base attended the report and participated in the discussion, the atmosphere was very warm and friendlyduring the discussion.
