The 111 Project on Information of Vehicle-Infrastructure Sensing and ITS is mainly on the foundation of the national key discipline of “Traffic Information Engineering and Control” and the scientific innovation team of “Multi-source Heterogeneous Traffic Information Intelligence Detection and Fusion Technology” of Chinese Ministry of Education at Chang’ An University. In order to meet major requirements for the road traffic industry in China, the 111 Project on Information of Vehicle-Infrastructure Sensing and ITS integrates world-class research teams to cooperate and aims at core technology of “Vehicle-Infrastructure Cooperative Communication and Networking”. Research on the three main fields, including the traffic information sensing and fusion technology、vehicle-infrastructure cooperative communication and networking technology、traffic system modeling and simulation technology, is planned to provide theoretical and technical supports for development of the advanced vehicle networking and cooperative intelligent transportation system in China.
